After being embarrassed 8-2 on the road against Arkansas, it appears Mizzou Soccer has turned a corner and is hungry for success. The Tigers (3-6-2, 1-2-1 SEC) racked up their first SEC win in over a calendar year, beating Florida (3-3-5, 0-2-1 SEC) 2-0 on their at Audrey J. Walton.
Olivia Chianelli kickstarted the Mizzou offense with key contributions on both goals. Her first came as the goal-scorer, burying home a rebound that first came off the foot of freshman Callaway Combs in the fifth minute.
For the second goal, Chianelli caused chaos in front of the keeper, getting fouled before she could take the shot.
