L.G. PattersonCOLUMBIA, MO. • After a rough February, the Missouri men’s basketball team hoped to charge into next week’s Southeastern Conference tournament with a head full of steam. Instead the Tigers slipped, again.
A three-point lead over Mississippi vanished in the final minutes Saturday when Torrence Watson’s masterful defensive performance came undone.
Watson lost his footing on a wet spot on Norm Stewart Court, clearing the way for Terence Davis to blast through the lane for a game-changing dunk.
