COLUMBIA, MO. • With the season’s finish line starting to become clear, the Missouri basketball team is slogging through some uncharted territory. For the first time under second-year coach Cuonzo Martin, the Tigers (12-15, 3-12 Southeastern Conference) have lost four straight games. For the first time in two years, sophomore center Jeremiah Tilmon came off the bench in their most recent loss. And two games back Martin picked up his first technical foul as the Tigers coach.
Are things unraveling for Martin’s undermanned team or is this just part of the growth process for a young lineup struggling to recover from multiple injuries?
