Mizzou safety, Blue Springs grad indefinitely suspended

Missouri junior safety Kaleb Prewett has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team policy, the team confirmed Wednesday.

“We will continue to gather additional information and work with campus and department leadership to determine his future in our program,” the team said in a statement.

Prewett, who started at free safety this season after playing some linebacker for the Tigers, transferred to Missouri from Kansas State before the 2016 season. He was eligible to play this past season, when he had 60 total tackles, including four for a loss, and recorded an interception against Tennessee.

The Blue Springs graduate played in all 13 games and finished fourth on the team in total tackles.
