COLUMBIA, MO. • As a veteran quarterback in the Southeastern Conference, Missouri’s Drew Lock understands his role as a spokesman and ambassador for the Tigers’ program. Don’t expect a media boycott from the junior, like the one his teammate Marcell Frazier announced on Twitter earlier this summer.
“I’m going to keep talking to you all,” Lock told a circle of reporters earlier this month at SEC Media Days. “I respect your guys’ job. I’m going to have a blast today.”
For the next few hours Lock made the rounds at the conference’s annual kickoff event, though he’s hardly a stranger among the media outlets that cover the SEC.
