Mizzou picks up verbal commitment from Pennsylvania high school quarterback

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri football has apparently constructed a pipeline of Pennsylvania quarterbacks, picking up its third signal-caller from the Keystone State with a high school recruit.

Three-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar verbally committed to Mizzou on Friday after visiting the school. He's the third prospect in the 2026 class to commit to the Tigers.

Sidwar, if he signs with MU, will be the third quarterback on the roster who hails from Pennsylvania. Penn State transfer Beau Pribula and true freshman Matt Zollers are also from there.

Sidwar attends La Salle College, a high school in Warrington, Pennsylvania, located north of Philadelphia.
