COLUMBIA, Mo. • Anthony Hines, a defensive back from College of San Mateo, committed to play for Missouri during an official visit and is expected to transfer in time to play this season, PowerMizzou.com reported Monday.
Hines graduated from from El Camino High School in San Francisco in 2013. Playing for San Mateo last year, the 6-2, 180-pound Hines had 27 tackles, a team-high three interceptions, eight breakups, two fumble recoveries and two blocked kicks.
"I chose Mizzou because of how they embraced me into the visit and the whole recruiting process," Hines told PowerMizzou.
