COLUMBIA, MO. • Three days after he was arrested on suspicion of stealing and using a fraudulent debit card, Missouri reserve running back Trevon Walters was dismissed from the team Monday after a meeting with coach Barry Odom, Odom said after Monday night’s practice.
“Wish him the best,” Odom said. “I want him to rebound from this and hope that he will.”
Walters, 21, was arrested Friday morning for an alleged incident that took place July 18, when a 19-year-old male reported stolen items, including a debit card, from his residence.
Multiple unauthorized transactions were made on the card.
