COLUMBIA, MO. • Kim Anderson didn’t take long to find a new coaching job.
Fired at Missouri late last month in his third season, Anderson will be the next head coach at Pittsburg State, a Division II program in Kansas. Anderson will be formally introduced as the Gorillas’ new coach Monday at the school, Pittsburg State announced Friday. He starts there on April 10.
He’ll be taking at least one member of his Mizzou staff to Pitt State. Jon Gilliam, MU’s video coordinator and a former player under Anderson at UCM, tweeted that he’ll join Anderson as an assistant coach.
