COLUMBIA, Mo. — Cuonzo Martin’s Missouri basketball team achieved more than a victory Tuesday at Ole Miss. In their 25-point win over the Rebels, the Tigers signaled they’re more than a one-man show. Yes, Kobe Brown hit his season scoring average with 15 points, but Brown didn’t have to carry the Tigers on his broad back for long stretches.
With 23 points on 10-for-10 shooting, Tigers guard Amari Davis became the first Mizzou player not named Kobe Brown to eclipse 20 points this season. It was just the third time in Mizzou’s eight wins someone other than Brown led the Tigers in scoring.
