COLUMBIA, MO. • Coming off Friday’s season-opening win over Iowa State, the Missouri men’s basketball team continues to receive votes in The Associated Press poll but short of the top 25. Missouri (1-0) remained six spots out of the poll among unranked teams receiving votes, trailing unranked teams Alabama, Rhode Island, Virginia, TCU and Providence.
The Tigers return to action Monday night (8 p.m., ESPN2) against Wagner (1-0) at Mizzou Arena.
Also on Monday, the Missouri women's basketball team dropped from No. 16 to 23 after splitting two games at the Hawkeye Challenge over the weekend.
