In a word: ugly. In a statistic: 68% shooting from the field — for both teams, combined. And in a result: another loss for Missouri men’s basketball.

The Tigers lost a tepid game on the road at Texas A&M, falling 63-57.

Entering the matchup on a five-game losing streak, MU coach Dennis Gates made one of his more drastic changes to the starting lineup, sending forward Noah Carter to the bench for freshman center Jordan Butler, who made his first collegiate start. Forward Jesus Carralero Martin also entered the starting five, joining the usual backcourt trio of Sean East II, Nick Honor and Tamar Bates.
