COLUMBIA, Mo. • Trey Baldwin, a linebacker from Houston, continued the Missouri football team's latest recruiting splurge, giving the Tigers a verbal commitment while visiting Columbia.
Baldwin confirmed his commitment to the Post-Dispatch and also tweeted about his decision. A 2016 target from Cypress-Falls High School, Baldwin (6-3, 223) is a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and also holds scholarship offers from Fresno State, Illinois, Louisiana Tech and Memphis among others.
Baldwin is the fifth player to commit to Mizzou since last Friday. The Tigers have nine verbal pledges for 2016:
