Missouri basketball coach Cuonzo Martin continued his stockpile of talent Friday as the Tigers landed another impact transfer.
Evansville point guard Dru Smith committed to Mizzou on Friday morning. Smith will have to sit out the 2018-19 season but will have two years of eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-4 guard took an official visit to Missouri this week.
Smith averaged 13.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game as a sophomore for the Purple Aces while shooting 48.2 percent from three-point range, which led the Missouri Valley Conference. He also led the conference in steals per game, with two.
