Well, if you’re going to schedule Liberty, you might as well beat them. And that’s exactly what Missouri did last night, with a 69-60 (nice) victory at Mizzou Arena. Mark Smith led the team with 17 points and the Tigers improved to 4-0 on the season.
Missouri was 0-8 from three-point range in the first half as Liberty took a 32-28 halftime lead, but the Tigers shot 5-8 from three in a huge second half, outscoring the Flames 41-28.
To be honest, this had a potential trap game written all over it, but Missouri took care of business against a team that had already beaten Mississippi State and South Carolina.
