COLUMBIA, MO. • On Dec. 2, something remarkable took place across the NFL in four separate games, though it didn’t produce any headlines around the league.
In 2013, those four players made up 80 percent of Missouri’s starting offensive line during the Tigers’ 12-2 season: Britt at left tackle, Boehm at center, McGovern at right guard and Morse at right tackle.
Skip ahead five years and four of the NFL’s 32 offenses began every play with a Mizzou man snapping the ball.
“It was really cool,” Morse said last week in Columbia while visiting his alma mater.
