Mizzou includes QB Brady Cook, WR Mookie Cooper on Wednesday injury report

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri is in line to approach another gameday with at least some uncertainty around who its starting quarterback will be.

Mizzou listed quarterback Brady Cook as doubtful on its Wednesday injury report, the first indication of his chances to play against South Carolina on Saturday — which evidently aren't high.

The report, required by the Southeastern Conference, does not specify the nature of Cook's injury. He has been dealing with separate ankle and throwing hand/wrist injuries, which caused him to miss the Tigers' last game.

Cook's doubtful status means an eventual decision on his availability is likely to come closer to kickoff and may not be determined until Saturday.
