Against Texas, there seemed to be an invisible lid on No. 22 Mizzou’s basket.
On Saturday, that lid didn’t seem to travel north, as the Tigers bounced back with a 83-75 victory over No. 16 Ole Miss.
By halftime, Mizzou eclipsed its three-point makes against Texas (six compared to four) and fell two field goals shy of matching the total from Austin (13 compared to 15 against UT). Ole Miss opened the game with an 8-0 run, as Jaylen Murray and Sean Pedulla knocked down a pair of triples. However, that lead quickly evaporated courtesy of a 12-0 Mizzou run; 10 of those points were scored by Bates.
