COLUMBIA, Mo. — Without Jeremiah Tilmon on Saturday Missouri managed to take the Southeastern Conference’s hottest team to overtime, in which the undermanned Tigers came up short against Arkansas.
Now Mizzou takes its limited frontcourt on the road. Tilmon, on an indefinite leave of absence after a death in his family, will not travel with the team to Georgia, MU confirmed Monday.
The Tigers learned to play without Tilmon last season when the center from East St. Louis suffered a foot injury, going 5-8 without him during most of the conference season.
