Cuonzo Martin might be out of nails to bite after another down-to-the-wire game Saturday, but this time his Missouri Tigers came out with a victory.
Kobe Brown’s two free throws with nine seconds left preserved a 70-66 win at Texas A&M, snapping the Tiger’ four game losing streak.
Brown came into Saturday’s game held to single-digit points in four straight games and in seven of MU’s last nine contests, but he rediscovered his scoring touch in College Station, leading Mizzou with a game-high 21 points.
The Tigers improved to 9-13 and 3-6 in SEC play heading into Tuesday’s game at Vanderbilt.
