Moments before Saturday’s kickoff, the Mizzou football team announced one player was no longer a part of the team.
Defensive end Trajan Jeffcoat left the team sometime before the Tigers’ game against Troy.
“Trajan Jeffcoat is not presently enrolled at Mizzou and will not be with the football team for the remainder of the season,” the press release said. “In consideration of student privacy rights, we will not comment further on this matter.”
After Saturday’s win, coach Barry Odom was asked about Jeffcoat and he had no further comment.
Jeffcoat missed the first four games of the season with a sprained elbow.
