The Mizzou football team may look like a top 25 team, but the associated press voters think otherwise.
Mizzou missed out on the Week 7 poll, posting a total of 64 points, just behind Minnesota’s 80 and Cincinnati’s 118.
The total would rank the Tigers at No. 27. The Associate Press Top 25 apparently made a mistake and released the rankings with 26 teams in the poll, leaving some to say the Tigers are the top team outside of the top 25, but that is not the case.
This is the third week in a row where Mizzou football is in the “Others Receiving Votes” part of the poll.
