Mizzou football staff receives hefty raises

COLUMBIA, Mo. • When Missouri football coach Gary Pinkel promised raises for the rest of his staff he wasn’t kidding.

Mizzou spent a collective $447,000 on raises for six of Pinkel’s seven returning full-time assistants, according to salary figures provided to the Post-Dispatch through an open records request.

Offensive coordinator Josh Henson is the staff’s highest paid assistant at $675,000, up from $550,000 last year. He's the fourth-highest paid offensive coordinator in the Southeastern Conference.

Five other position coaches received raises ranging from $60,000 to $69,000. Quarterbacks coach and associate head coach Andy Hill will make $417,500.
