Mizzou football returning to Arrowhead Stadium

Division I college football is going back to Kansas City, and it’s going to be a good one.

The Mizzou football team announced Tuesday that it will play Arkansas at Arrowhead Stadium next season.

There was plenty of speculation about this game being moved to Kansas City recently. This same game, known as the Battle Line Rivalry, will be played in Little Rock this season when Arkansas hosts it. So next season, the game moves west of Columbia when the Tigers host.

The Tigers have played in Kansas City eight times since 2000, including their most recent time — a 20-16 win over BYU in 2015.
