Missouri linebacker Cale Garrett landed on the Butkus Award Watch List, which was released Monday. The Butkus award is given annually to the nation’s top linebacker.
After two consistent seasons, Garrett looks to save his best output for his last year.
The Kearney, Missouri, native had 106 tackles last season, six for loss, after recording 99 tackles and 10 tackles for loss his sophomore year. He’s had four sacks over the two seasons in which he has played in all 26 games for Mizzou.
