Mizzou football released an injury report Sunday night, and with all eyes on the status of quarterback Kelly Bryant, there was a major shock added next to Bryant.
Linebacker Cale Garrett is having surgery to repair a pectoral tendon injury. That likely means the senior linebacker will miss the remainder of the season.
This is a big of a blow to the defense. Garrett was one of the best players on one of the best defenses in the country. He will more than likely be named SEC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, the second time he will have won the award.
