Mizzou football heads into its first bye week with a 3-1 record and sits in the “Others Receiving Votes” category in the Associated Press Top 25.
That doesn’t sit well with many fans because of the high expectations the 2019 season brought. Remember, Missouri was just one sport outside of the rankings, the highest team with votes that wasn’t ranked in the preseason poll. They’ve dropped a few spots since then, and that is because of the Week 1 loss.
But while a 3-1 record isn’t perfect, it’s OK given how the Tigers have performed in Weeks 2-4.
