Mizzou Football Bowl Projections: A Look at Where the 6-2 Tigers Stand

After a 34-0 loss on the road to Alabama, the Missouri Tigers’ College Football Playoff hopes are essentially all but over (hence the reason why there’s no Race for the CFP post).

However, with a record of 6-2, Mizzou is officially bowl eligible and still has a chance of putting together a good season despite falling short of the CFP in all likelihood.

Heading into their bye week with four games remaining in the regular season, let’s take a look at the latest bowl projections for the Tigers.

ESPN ($$) Bonagura: AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs Texas Tech (December 31st); Schlabach: TransPerfect Music City Bowl vs Michigan (December 30th)

CBS: Cirtus Bowl vs Indiana (December 31st)

Action Network: TaxSlayer Gator Bowl vs Duke (January 2nd)

247Sports: Texas Bowl vs Texas Tech (December 31st)

Athlon Sports: AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs West Virginia (December 27th)

College Football News: Las Vegas Bowl vs Washington State (December 27th)

College Football Network: Las Vegas Bowl vs Utah (December 27th)

Saturday Down South: TaxSlayer Gator Bowl vs Duke (January 2nd)

USA Today: Las Vegas Bowl vs Utah (December 27th)

Total count: Las Vegas (3), Liberty (2), Gator (2), Music City (1), Citrus (1), Texas (1)

The Las Vegas Bowl is the leader in the clubhouse right now, and that might not be a bad consolation prize location-wise for Mizzou fans to take a vacation.
