After four straight in-state commitments to begin his 2020 recruiting class, Barry Odom has secured his second out-of-state commitment in as many days with offensive tackle Ray Curry joining the Tigers on Monday.
The rising senior from White Station (Memphis) announced his commitment on Twitter.
Curry is a 6-foot-5, 300-pound lineman who turned down offers from a number of Power-5 schools, including Southeastern Conference teams like Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky and Ole Miss. He joins fellow 2020 commits Drake Heismeyer and Mitchell Walters on the offensive line.
According to Curry’s tweet, he has received 27 total offers, with an offer from Missouri coming back in January.
