Mizzou football had one player picked up before the NFL officially begins its 100th season Thursday night.
And a couple more have been traveling for workouts with various teams.
Paul Adams, who had a strong camp with the New York Giants, signed with the Cleveland Browns to be part of their practice squad earlier this week. The former Mizzou left tackle was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Giants last May.
Adams was the 10th guy added to the Browns practice squad. A year of practice should provide the former Tiger with some good work, and hopefully he’s able gain some experience as more of a switch tackle who can provide depth as he enters a second training camp next season — if he doesn’t move up to the active roster this year.
