AUBURN, Ala. • After an 89-78 loss to Auburn Saturday, all Missouri coach Kim Anderson could do was tip his metaphorical cap to his opponent.
Auburn, hosting its Senior Night at Auburn Arena, connected on a season-best 56.1 percent of its field goals to send Missouri to its sixth straight defeat in the regular-season finale for both teams. It also marked Mizzou’s 35th straight loss on the road.
“You’ve got to give them credit,” Anderson said. “They got off to a great start and we were somewhat flat-footed, I thought, early in the game. But I would give our guys credit.
