Missouri’s opening week of men’s basketball was a success. Mizzou basketball started the season with and 82-42 win over Incarnate Word and followed that with a 71-56 victory over Northern Kentucky.
Two players started in their regular season debuts for Mizzou: Dru Smith and Kobe Brown. These two headline a group of newcomers who make up a chunk of a deep Missouri roster.
Smith has been a do-it-all point guard, averaging 8.5 points, 4.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. Brown has chipped in 9.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while also adding 1.
