COLUMBIA, MO. • Missouri basketball coach Kim Anderson and athletics director Mack Rhoades hinted some staff changes could take place this offseason. The Tigers have officially made a change: Strength and conditioning coach Matt Herring is out. A team spokesman confirmed the move Monday.
"Mizzou men's basketball is moving in a new direction with its strength and conditioning program. We thank Matt Herring for his contributions the last two seasons and wish him the best in the future," MU announced in a statement.
Anderson hired Herring two years ago in what was considered a major pickup for the Mizzou staff considering Herring's impressive background.
