Mizzou Baseball was swept for the second consecutive week in SEC play, allowing 40 runs over three games last weekend to No. 24 Ole Miss. The Tigers put together an impressive offensive effort, scoring an average of over seven runs per game against a top-25 team, but were let down by their hurlers.

Mizzou led entering the sixth inning of this matchup but allowed seven runs over the next three frames, falling 9-6 in the series opener.

Friday night starter Ian Lohse gave Kerrick Jackson five solid innings, allowing five hits with just one earned run and two walks alongside eight strikeouts.
