Missouri fans curious to see what Tigers coach Barry Odom says this week at SEC football media days won’t have long to wait. The unofficial start to college football’s preseason kicks off Monday back in its longtime home of Hoover, Ala., and Odom will be the first coach to greet the throng of media at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham-Wynfrey Hotel.
SEC Network televises the event, beginning at 11:30 a.m. with commissioner Greg Sankey’s session followed by Mizzou’s contingent.
It’s Mizzou’s eighth appearance at the Southeastern Conference’s annual preseason media parade — last year’s event was held in Atlanta — and the fourth for Odom, who will be bring quarterback Kelly Bryant, linebacker Cale Garrett and cornerback DeMarkus Acy.
