COLUMBIA, MO. • Billy Gillispie has coached great players at high-profile programs, but he counts Jordan Geist as one of his favorites. The 6-3 guard earned second-team junior college All-American honors for Gillispie at Ranger College this year and next season will play for Missouri.
“He’s a great player, one of the most fun guys I’ve ever coached. He’s just a just a joy to be around,” said Gillispie, the former head coach at Texas El-Paso, Texas A&M, Kentucky and Texas Tech. “He’s a really really tough guy. He’s hard nosed. He’s exciting.
