In a new twist on “how many ways we can say ‘no’,” SEC commissioner Greg Sankey basically told the proponent for change to cool his jets, because either way, Auburn’s not getting out of the annual Iron Bowl with Alabama.
Sankey stated, “It’s not an agenda item,” further relating that this topic is brought up on occasion. While geographically the change would make sense, I’m content knowing that annual matchups with Alabama and LSU aren’t directly on the horizon for Missouri.
It may just be an obvious observation, but it’s worked. Are we comfortable?
