The Missouri Tigers baseball team struggled in its series opener with Georgia Thursday night. While Mizzou’s defense started out strong, the offense was unable to find a rhythm to score any runs.
Missouri, which has now lost eight of its last nine, struck-out 17 times last night. Tanner Houck pitched a 3.04 era, helping Mizzou’s defense prevent the Bulldogs from taking off with the game, but it was more than the Tigers could overcome.
Georgia’s pitching staff kept the Tigers on their heels, as the Bulldogs shut out Missouri, 3-0.
