Missouri didn’t just crush Delaware State last weekend — the Tigers set record after record in the blowout as well.
The team set numerous school records during Saturday’s 79-0 thrashing of the Hornets, a FCS program.
A few of them:
* The Tigers’ 79 points set a school record, and marked the highest total for any FBS program in 2016.
* Missouri scored a school-record 58 points in the first half, a tally so overwhelming that the teams agreed to shorten the second half to 10-minute quarters.
* The 255 first-quarter yards broke the school record for yards in an opening quarter.
