With the postseason approaching, the bubble in between the top and bottom half of the Southeastern Conference is not where Missouri’s women’s basketball team (21-6, 8-6 SEC) wants to be. But that’s where the team finds itself.
Given its current conference ranking, each game serves as the greatest importance for their postseason portfolio and Sunday’s 69-55 win over the Auburn Tigers only helps.
Although Missouri led early, the team couldn’t break away. After all, Auburn has proven itself as a comeback team on multiple occasions this season. This includes overcoming a double-digit deficit against a high ranked Florida team one week earlier.
