In the 2017 signing class, Barry Odom and Missouri brought aboard big offensive lineman Larry Borom, a 6’6, 345-pounder from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The Tigers are now dipping back into the same well: On Monday, Javon Foster, a 6’6, 300-pounder from West Bloomfield (eight miles away from Bloomfield Hills), committed to Mizzou as well.
Foster was long committed to Central Michigan, but the rumors of flipping have been floating around for a while. He becomes Mizzou’s second known offensive line commit, joining the mammoth Mike Ruth of Coppell, Tex. (Blue Springs’ Daniel Parker is evidently as adept on the offensive line as the defensive line, but for now it still appears he will be a defender.
