That has been the complaint about the NCAA Tournament "Selection Show" in recent years, as the television networks that show the unveiling of the field for college basketball's big event have tinkered with what was a popular format.
It took CBS just one minute Sunday to start running through the East Regional bracket, telling viewers that Duke had the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament then rolling through the parings. It was about two minutes later when St. Louis University fans found out the Billikens will be playing Virginia Tech on Friday, in San Jose, Calif. The fast pace continued, as all eight matchups in the region had been listed in the program's first seven minutes.
