MEDIA BAN: Missouri will no longer open the beginning of its Tuesday practice sessions to reporters, team spokesman Chad Moller announced in an email Monday.
In-season Tuesday practices had been open for approximately the first 45 minutes each week, a period of time taken up by warm-ups, stretching and some positional drills. Reporters in attendance were not permitted to report on any of the content they observed.
In the email, Moller wrote the team decided to close off Tuesday practices "due to a general lack of interest … and also for the best competitive interests of the football program.
