COLUMBIA, MO. • SEC teams went 1-6 on the road this week — and the lone winner, No. 1 Tennessee, needed overtime to escape Vanderbilt on Wednesday. Louisiana State coach Will Wade made sure to mention that fact before his surging Tigers hit the road this weekend to face Missouri, a team likely facing depth issues along the perimeter that could neutralize any homecourt advantage at Mizzou Arena.
Wade’s Tigers are the hottest team in the SEC outside of Knoxville, Tenn., winners of eight straight with the last three decided by double digits.
The SEC is loaded with great point guards this year.
