COLUMBIA, Mo. - It’s officially the football offseason at Mizzou and for the third time in 19 years it’s officially head-coaching search season.
MU athletics director Jim Sterk fired Tigers coach Barry Odom Saturday morning and has already launched into the process of finding his replacement, Sterk told reporters during a news conference Saturday afternoon. Sterk said he had been considering a change for a while but made the final decision within 24-48 hours of Friday’s season-ending victory over Arkansas.
