Loyola basketball assistant could join Mizzou staff

COLUMBIA, MO. • Missouri basketball coach Kim Anderson could be closer to hiring an assistant coach to replace Corey Tate, who left his alma mater to join SLU's staff last week. CBSSports.com reported Friday that Mizzou will hire Loyola University Chicago assistant coach Emanuel Dildy. In an email to the Post-Dispatch, Dildy said there was nothing official to report.

Anderson left with his team Friday for their 10-day tour to Italy and was unable to confirm. The Tigers are scheduled to play exhibition games there Sunday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
