On Saturday, INTRUST Bank Arena sat quiet.
Was that surprising? Not really, mostly because the time was 1:40 p.m. CT. The first game of the day between Drake and Texas Tech didn’t tip off until 5:10 p.m. CT. The building that bustled and bounced just two days prior would do so again soon; for now, though, the excitement of March Madness would have to wait.
