On Thursday, Missouri announced that quarterback Kelly Bryant was invited to be a counselor at the Manning Passing Academy this summer.
Proof:
Did you know that Missouri’s last four starting quarterbacks have now all been Manning Passing Academy counselors? That streak started with James Franklin in 2013 and then continued with Maty Mauk in 2015. Drew Lock was invited in 2017 but couldn’t participate because of some weird mandate from then-offensive coordinator Josh Heupel. However, he did participate in 2018.
Now, Bryant continues that string of Missouri quarterbacks. In another twist, Bryant joins former Clemson teammate Trevor Lawarence — the guy who took his job in Clemson — as counselors at the camp.
