Missouri has landed a quarterback for the 2018 recruiting class. Lindsey Scott Jr., a junior college transfer who began his career at Louisiana State, committed to the Tigers after visiting campus last weekend. Scott played at East Mississippi Community College last fall after leaving LSU in August.
Scott will come to Mizzou with three remaining years of eligibility. He could serve as Drew Lock's backup this season and compete for the starting job in 2019. The 5-11 quarterback was named the Gatorade Louisiana Football Player of the Year in 2015 after leading Zachary High School to the 5A state title.
