Missouri's recruiting splurge continues with a verbal commitment from massive offensive lineman Yasir Durant, a 6-7, 345-pound junior college transfer. Durant, originally from Philadelphia, signed with San Diego State last year but was a late qualifier and had to enroll at Arizona Western College for a semester. Durant stayed committed to San Diego State but changed his mind in recent weeks.
Durant played left tackle at Imhotep Intitute in Philadephila. He was rated a three-star prospect in February when he signed with San Diego State but now rates as a two-star by Rivals.
